feels the same as before it popped off -- the mechanism that holds the bezel in place on the rep is different than the gen, so looking up bezel info on the gen is of no use . -- (the gen uses the screws to hold it in place, the rep uses a simple spring)
chrono --
just ran it into a door frame hard enough as i was moving around the house...
I got the bezel back on -- it took simple pressure on the bezel and i turned the bezel around as i pressed down, the two together made it snap back into place perfectly.
Anyone else had their bezel pop off on the breitling seawolf avenger v2 (mine is yellow, but this applies to any color).
I'm trying to get it to go back with simple finger pressure, but doesn't seem to work very well .. i think i may need a new spring inside the bezel to get it to work right. -- anyone have leads to parts for the rep bezel? (other than china?) ..
the watch came from trusty ..
any ideas on how to get the bezel back on (or a tutorial i might have missed) would be appreciated.
ben ..
been spending the last few days in NYC .. the strap has been comfortable even in the humid heat that is NYC in the summer (i much prefer SF weather)
ben ..
the difference in weight is significant between the SS bracelet and the rubber strap .. so i prefer the rubber strap ... for me its more comfortable without the extra weight.
I really enojed this watch during this trip -- its a great watch for a beach vacation ..
during the day i wore the yellow seawolf .. and at night for dinner / walking on the beach i switched to my PAM 111 ... the other watches i brought with me got no wrist time .. -- guess i only need 2 watches on vacation .. day time and night time.
Just wanted to share a photos I snapped while in Hawaii with the banana seawolf. Wore the watch while swimming in the pool, ocean, and some snorkeling, out of the box waterproof. (I wanted to take a picture with it underwater, but I never got around to it)
for myself today i own only reps (about 6) -- eventually i plan on having some gens.. maybe about 2 .. and up to 10 reps .. the variety that you can have with reps is too great ..
not really worried about re-sale value
i'd like to build some superfrankens (stuff like a 1680 and a vintage pam)
this strap has worked out great in my trip to hawaii .. i've worn it several days swimming , snorkeling, or just hanging out by the pool .. the strap dries fast, easy to clean even when you get sunblock on it. -- its comfortable when its hot, -- i dont have anything bad to say about the strap ..
