I've used Raffles a few times. The lume on his stuff isn't very good. Everything else is ok though.
I almost tried the other fella, got a quote, asked him 3 or 4 times if it was for a 3135 movement and got told yes every time.
Just before I paid I asked him again and he said no it was for 28xx and if I wanted a 3135 case it would be extra. Needless to say I walked away.

I have 7753 that came back from a watchmaker after a tantrum, he stripped it to the last part and just put it all in little boxes all mixed up. Same as the 7750 just the dials are in different positions i think.

What stem fits this movement? 2836/2824?

And the keyless, is it the same as the 2836/24?

I thought that and movement with A in front of it was just a decorated movement. I was pleasantly surprised to see the hand move forward when the crown was wound firward, in like the 28xxs.

I'm told off the guy I bought it off it was working fine when it went in the post. As far as I'm aware the case back or the stem have never been removed Pal.

Hello all, I've just received a DSSD thats in real nice condition. The things is though, as soon as the crown is unscrewed it goes into the date change position. I can't wind it at all. Even when its screwing down it doesn't start to wind.

 

Any ideas?

At no point did I think Ryan was the issue.
I actually posted 2 items at the same time last week, uk royal mail, one was going around 20mls away, the other over 200.
The 20mls parcel arrived before the 200ml which took 3 days. So I know that things in the physical world are taking longer.
This is an electronic item though, so can't see why it should be slowed down to 16hrs. Just had word off Ryan that he has my payment.
What slows these things down I wonder?

Hello all, sent payment to a TD last night, its left my account.

The TD, Ryan at intime, has said he hasn't recieved the funds yet, I don't think anything untoward is going on, it seems a long time is all.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to land at the other end, it's been over 12hrs so far.
