  1. I got a Sub 114060 No Date from Reg a few months back, and while I still pine from time to time over the real deal, or even something like a ZZF version, I then strap this on and it all goes away. Honestly for under $200 USD to your door you really can't come close without spending more than double.

Sure the alignment on my bezel wasn't 100%, but with the pip at 9 you can't tell, and I like it over there most of the time anyway. Sure the DG movement is a giveaway since it's not as smooth, but no one I know, even the people with real Rollies, would notice that on the wrist.

I don't tell people it's real, to that point no one has asked, and if they did I'd fess up it's not, however I think for 8k less than the real deal it's more than good enough for me.36471a65d2b786d35de5ebd253b458ec.jpg

  2. I've been wearing this the last few days and I had to share since of the few reps I have, this is the only one that makes me feel like I don't need the Gen version. I'll be trying to get my hands on a ZF BB58 soon as well I think since every review I've seen of it is glowing. 1a1c15503a8dae79f0703bf9cd204a0c.jpge6e6deffc22216c7d51120375bb525a1.jpg

  3. Took delivery of this yesterday, and I'm extremely pleased with the quality. Excuse the crumbs on the watch, I ate breakfast rabidly this morning. The colors all look good to my eye, the text printing is crisp, and everything is assembled solidly. The bezel and crown and smooth and work nicely, the handwinding is good with no 'gritty' feel. My only observation is the crown could be engraved a little deeper, but at a glance it looks correct.

A front shot on the wrist for now until I can get some better ones.5c3f02100981c91a8ac2b2b0e6d2c1bb.jpg

  5. Ryan is a good TD on many forums. I trust you got the right website (usually it’s only the bigger ones like trusty and perfect clones that get copied )
I used the link in Ryan's email from our correspondence to purchase (intime04.co) and have received all the proper email confirmations since. It has been an entirely smooth purchase so far, and I'm almost glad the first ones I tried didn't work so I could get to this spot and buy from him.

  6. After going though a few TDs that were reluctant to take my money I finally got an order placed. A quick convo with Ryan at InTime and I put an order though with zero problems, just waiting for QC pics!

  7. On the vostok subject

I had one amphibia to try and i couldnt live with the wobbly (to use an euphemism..) crown

    Are they all such ?

The wobbly crown is by design. It's weird to get used to, but it puts way less stress on the movement since it's actually completely disengaged from the movement unless you're adjusting the day or time. The trick I use while winding the movement or setting the time is to slightly angle my fingers away from the watch and it seems to keep everything engaged and smooth.

  8. I just placed an order for my very first rep from Puretime.io for a ZF Heritage Black Bay Blue.

I'm massively excited for this piece, and sure it is going to be a gateway since I've already added six more watches to my wish list on there.

My only hope now is that customs don't screw me and I actually get it!

  9. A quiet little backwater with more knowledge than the highways. Enjoy your new rabbit hole
Rabbit hole indeed! I've already got plans to pick up a Noob 114060 V8 and drop a legit 2824 in it, then after that a ZF Heritage BB Blue and do the same.

A whole new ailment has been added to the overall sickness haha.

  10. Hey there all!

New to RWG, but not to watches. Decided to do some rep research and here I am! No reps currently owned (yet) but plenty of watches I've modded as homages.

Looking forward to snagging my first one (either a Sub or BB) and officially joining the ranks!

As for what I've got around the wrist today, a Vostok Amphibia 710 SE mod.912ca2872c36462d084ea8a8314f753c.jpg
