  1. Well. First thing I did with mine is clean it up.

Case - used simple metal cleaner (the cotton ball already impregnated type for silver polishing). lite rub over and good clean after with a cotton cloth.

For the bracelet I removed, did the same with the silver polish. Then soaked it in oil. left for impregnation. then cleaned off and finally rubbed over with a cotton cloth.

Now the case and bracelet don't make noises, and feel much more 'silky'. Was amazing how black the silver polish balls became, indicating the metal as received was pretty dirty....

    Thanx for the tip Scotty!

I will try this and see how it will turn out. Probably really good!

Hell of a watch by the way!!

    Regards!

  2. Howdy!

I just recently bought a Ultimate DSSD with the Swiss ETA from The Kartell and I just have a little question when it comes to the "Feel and smoothness" of the watch.

My friend received his Ultimate DSSD with the Asia Rolex Clone Movement two weeks ago and the feel of his case and bracelet is much smoother then mine. (Also from The Kartell)

I have a gen 16660 Seadweller and my friends DSSD is close to spot on when it comes to the feel of the edges.

So my question is. Is there a difference from watch to watch when it comes to the grinding of the case and bracelet or have I by any chance received a older version of the watch?

Anyone that might give me some input?

    Regards!

    /J

  3. Hello again!

Ok, then I will certanly have the watch AR coated. As a matter of fact I also need to have this done on my Slytech Chrono.

    @ Chieftang

Now then, what do I need to do? I have searched but cannot find how to remove the bezel on the 187. I know how to do on a Sub but is it the same procedure here? Also do I need to remove the old "Light AR" before I send it to have a new AR.

    Regards!

  4. Howdy!

Does anyone know if there is any "Light AR" on the 47 mm PAM 187?

It bothers me that you cannot practically see the dial if you look from a not to steep angle. Has this anything to do with the AR?

I am not really sure about the looks of a orig but this really makes the watch loose some of it

  5. Sorry my mistake looking at the manufaturing pics it looks pressed on and in all the pics (of the new on not old ones) shows it centered at 1200, so you may be able to turn it back to the 1200

I would have ago with a case back removeing tool and see if it will turn. Be carefull some times we can live with a scretch on the back but on the front!!!!!

Ok, thank you for your reply. I will try to fix this.

    Best regards!

    Howdy!

I have a question regarding the bracelet on the new IWC Ingenieur. Ny bracelet just fell apart when I was watching a movie in my sofa. The welding broke! And no, I didn´t wrestle my wife when this happened...

Has anyone else had the same problem? What can I do now?

Also on the Ingenieur, is there a way to center and adjust the small hole (One of five) that is suppose to be just above the 12 o´clock mark? Now it is approx 1-2 mm wrong.

    Suggestions?

    Best regards!

  7. Hello all!

Well, I got a letter from the Law Firm saying that if I was willing to let Rolex Sweden destroy the watch then this whole thing would be settled...

I asked them what knd of watch there was in the package and he said a White Daytona. I asked them how they could say that is was a fake? (This is the law firm) He then said that the only way for them to see this was by checking the serial. I then told him that this must have been a gift from someone but I can´t tell from who because I haven´t seen the package. Well it seems that this issue is sorted out. Unfortunately for me I lost the watch... BUT, the dealer who sold me the watch said that he will ship a new one to a different adress! :thumbsupsmileyanim: So hopefully this shipment will find it´s target.

    Best regards!

  8. Hello!

Well the customs have taken my watch (W Rolly Day) and are telling me to contact the law firm that is handeling this case. The law firm is working for Rollie here in Sweden so I really don´t know what to expect now.

Anyone who has had similar experience who can give me some advise?

    Regards!

  9. Howdy!

I just love when a really good dealer offers a superquick reply and service.

I mentioned the problem, witch surerly only was a little mixup and VOILA! The problem is taken care of just like that! :yeah:

Super cred to Andrew at www.trustytime.com who fixed this problem lightning fast! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    Regards!

Ps. I wonder what I should order next...?

  10. Howdy!

I know a lot of you guys think that I should start looking for answers here att RWG myself but I will try anyway. (Got a crazy wife that thinks that I am sitting in front of the computer doing some extra work for the company and don´t want to get caught... :whistling: )

I just recently bought a all steel Sub from Andrew and must say that the fit on my arm is sexy, soft and smooth...! :)

The only thing is that I am not that found of the magnifier "Bubble" and actually would like a Seadweller.

I couldn´t resist the quality and pricing and went for the Sub anyway.

Now I have heard that there are no cases made exclusively for the rep Seadweller. Is this correct?

If so then does anyone know how close to the real thing it is possible to go? Maybe I should go for a vintage one?

Any tips or suggestions? Im new to the Rolex market so this is why I am asking.

Always the best regards to all you watchfreaks out there!

    Jim
