This has not left my wrist since I've got it (3 weeks ago).
-
Actually this is near the office I work at.
The shop exists and I think you can trust them.
-
By the way, here is a still of the Daytona in Lost.
So is it a fake?
It is even missing the center seconds hand

On the last wedding I went to I wore Narikaas Noob Yachtmaster. Got a lot of compliments.
A datejust or daydate would be a good choice too, I think.....
-
And good news for my european friends: Naarika carries this one as well (asian version) and ships from UK.
I received the watch yesterday and I'm quite impressed with the quality and feel.
So thanks Naarika for the shipping and great service.

Oh yeah guitars and watches.
Used to have guns too, but have given up on those (just no fun over here in europe).
Of my 7 Les Pauls these are my favorites:
My Rossington signature
My '69 Goldtop

I bought a Gibson Les Paul '68 Custom flametop copy from a chinese dealer about one year ago (can't remember the website though).
Since I gig frequently with my band I planned to use it as a cheap stage guitar (I'm kinda reluctent to put my Gibson Historic Reissues in front of a drunken rock / punk audiance ).
The transcation was very easy. I emailed the seller with some custom mods, it took about 10 days to finish the guitar.
The price was ridiculously low and they took paypal. They sent a photo of the actual guitar before shipping.
Just be prepared to ask a LOT of questions and demand a actual photo before you buy.
The finish of my guitar is immaculate with great overall workmanship. I think it holds up to any Epiphone.
The hardware is somewhat crappy though (the tuners, tailpiece and bridge lose the gold pretty fast and the pickups are p.o.s) but can be easily replaced.
It makes a great gig guitar but it just can't touch my gen Gibson Historics (which cost about 20 times as much).

Sorry to hear of your loss. All the best to you and your family.

Hi Tostef,
mit Andrew kannst Du absolut nichts falsch machen. TTK war für mich auch immer OK.
lich willkommen.

My favorites:
2003 Gary Rossington Signature (the best sounding and playing guitar I've ever had by far)
'69 Les Paul Goldtop
-
Well, actually I do own a few originals (2 '59 reissues, a Gary Rossington signature, a '78 Les Paul Standard and a '69 Les Paul Goldtop).
I'm looking for a cheap stage guitar and rumors are that there are some replicas which are far better then the epiphone clones....

Hello there...
Does anybody have a lead on really good replicas of Gibson electric guitars ?
I'm looking for a good copy of a Les Paul Custom...
Cheers

Should be possible.
You might have to change the hands, though.

Congratulations & all the best to your son and your family.

Hey Pugwash if you like your Seiko you should really check out one of the monsters some time.
A great bang for the buck !!
-
@Pugwash
Sorry 'bout that...

The Seiko steel bracelet feels flimsy and cheap, but very comfortable once it's on. I prefer it to all my Omega rep steel bracelets, and I'd say it's as comfy as my Sub.
Yes, I know, it's heresy to say lighter, flimsier bracelets are better, but it looks like Rolex has this one right.
Oh, and it just takes a NATO to transform it.
You can't mean the monster bracelet, do you ?
I think it is pretty substantial, on par with the ss bracelet of our PAM's, and has a great fliplock clasp.
-
I can't comment on the samurai but I have recently acquired a seiko orange monster.
The quality is outstanding, in fact I like the watch so much that I ordered the black dial version also.
-
Well, I'm just sitting here fiddling with the bracelet of my PO 4th gen from Andrew.
I think the bracelet itself is not that bad, but the clasp and divers extension is a joke....
The extension is not "snapping" to the clasp at all when closed.
As for the clasp itself:
I always fear it will snap open as it does sometimes.
I have already opened the push button mechanism and tried to fix it, but to no avail.
It annoys me so much that the PO get's very little wristtime at all.
-
Ah, Le Monsteur Orange. Have this one too. You can read by the lume at night.
Yes, it's just unbelievable. How do you like it ?
I think it is a great bargain !!
-
Nothing wrong with a Seiko !!!
I'm wearing this today:
In fact I just got it this weekend and I can't believe the quality and feel of this watch.
-
#1 4th gen. Orange PO (I just wish the clasp was better).
#2 Breitling Avenger Chrono Titanium (just a great watch)
#3 Explorer II black dial (with correct handstack)

I think Italy will make it if they play like they did in their last games.
I wouldn't mind seeing Zidane take the trophy though, he's just a great player and I honestly prefer the french style of football.
Let's just hope it will be an offensive game not all dominated by tactics, lead by a ref who is consistent and leaves no room for speculations.
However, I'd really like to see some more goals than in the France vs. Portugal game.
Kinda odd, since my team is out it feels really good if you can cheer for each team....
-
The truth is that Germans overdid themselves, they won by penalties against much more talented Argentina team and fought well against the Italy.
Yeah right !! And how did Italy win over Australia ???
Anyway, I think the german team did well in the tournament (better than most people thought) and I'm really looking forwrd to the final on sunday.
All Black Submariner - lots of pics
