I've managed to get great deals on two 7753 Hamiltons. First one I grabbed for a little less than $400 about six months ago at a pawn shop. Case was a little scratched up but other than that it's been running great. The other one I grabbed off the bay for about $450 a couple months ago. Both are Hamilton Aviation Chrono's. May take you a little time to hunt down some good deals but they can be found.

In all honesty do we really need yet another HBB repped. How about making a nice SMP rep again. Would almost bet that they would sell 50 of those to every Hublot that is sold.

Just keep an eye on the FS sections here and at the other forums. The 4th gen ones do turn up for sale once in a while. In fact over the past month or so I know I have seen a couple go up for sale. You might also try posting a WTB as well. I would love to see the 42mm PO redone as an Ultimate as well but I'm not getting my hopes up. Seems that they are too interested in making $400-600 A7750 based reps

Looks fantastic By-Tor! I just missed getting in on the first round of orders for these and not sure I want to wait a few months or whatever to get one so I might just have to settle for gen Sub There's some awefully good deals on gens floating around these days.

I would just go for the UPO with the asian clone. In all honesty I wouldn't spend the extra $$ for ETA on one. It's a crapshoot these days as to whether or not you would actually get one. Know of several people who paid extra and sometime down the road had to open it up and then found out they had been sent a clone mvt anyway. I was lucky enough to get my UPO's with ETA's before that became such widespread problem.

Go for it kruzer. If you're already getting credit for the broken movt then the price of the Blacksteel works out to be less and the S7750 that you're putting in probably cost far less than they fetch today then it's really just a matter of the cost of getting it lumed (which will fix any off center lume dots) and getting the mvt installed. Like others have said I probably wouldn't go buy a new V2 BS and pay $500 for the mvt to do it but if you already have everything in hand then it's a no brainer. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

Check your PM about the one FS. I may be wrong but I believe the current DSN 082 does not have the caseback engraved correctly and it's missing the engraving on the backside of the lugs. At least it looks that way in the pics in DSN's section. The older DSN 082 (second version I believe has everything engraved correctly).
