  1. Thanks for the info! Just wondering is it possible to glue another datewheel on the existing date wheel in the tri compax navitimer to fix the sunken date wheel problem?
  2. I was thinking of getting a navitimer and the navitimer world caught my eye. Unfortunately I couldn't find any reviews about it... So how accurate is it? Is it a better rep than the other navitimers? What are its major flaws? Thanks
  3. So a 7753 movement will fit in the case without any problem?
  4. Hi, Does anyone know how the date wheel looks like on the Montblanc Timewalker watch? Is the date wheel the same on the Timewalker with the two registers and the Timewalker with 3 registers? I know they both run on the same 7750 movement but which one is more accurate? Thanks
  5. Yeah i was looking in buying a streling silver pendant for no more than 60$ I have found some websites im just wondering how good the silver is and how good the copies are,,,,
  6. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find some cheap and possibly fake Tiffany & co. jewelry. Im looking for an open heart pendant..... Thanks!
  7. How hard is it to adjust a watch for it to keep time properly? Is it something that a noob can do or is it just better to bring the watch to a watch maker? The reason i ask is because one of my reps is running fast but it only cost me 15$ so Im not too sure if i want to pay for a fix if its gonna cost me as much as the whole watch LOL Thanks
  8. The watch is a Citizen chronograph divers model 67-9119 The bezel has an inner rotating ring. The Inner ring is rotated with the crown at the 10 o'clock position Either way the bezel is pretty loose no way I can wear the watch. It wont fall off if I turn the watch upside down but if I give it a light shake it falls off. I think there's traces of yellow glue. I just got this watch not too long ago. I haven't tried separating the crystal from the bezel yet. Thanks for your help
  9. I took it to my local watchmaker he told me he wouldn't touch the watch. He basically said that I would not like the outcome and that it would make a mess if I wanted to service the watch later on. Since the bezel is plastic how is it normally supposed to be attached to the rest of the watch? They are not permanently cemented on at the factory right? Either way thanks for your help
  10. Here is the pic of the actual watch
  11. Thanks for the reply The inside of the bezel is plastic and the inside of the watch is steel. I'll try to upload a pic or something it looks like this watch but the dial is different I've never had this problem with any other watch...
  12. I have this old citizen chronograph and I just recently noticed that the bezel comes right off the watch itself. Its kind of annoying because the crystal is connected to the bezel and the watch is therefore unwearable. Not too sure what to do with this. How would you guys fix this problem? Thanks
  13. I've been looking at some of the vintage Seiko's and Citizen's on Ebay and I was wondering how much the new thing used to cost. I mean the average automatic Seiko chronograph sells for 80$ to 120$ on Ebay. How much did a watch like this cost in the 70's? Is it a good investment or a waste of money?
  14. I agree with most of you. I mean some of these reps probably have decent quality movements that will last many years. However I find that its kind of a rip off if they price a watch for 100$ when its worth no more then 10$ I got the following watch for 15$ exact same thing http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...products_id=160 So I'm guessing that a watch that costs 250 is really worth less then 100$?
  15. Your probably right. I have bought 3 speed masters now and I think 2 of them are butt ugly already LOL
  16. Thanks for the quick reply. To be honest I think the fake looks better then the gen lol but thats just my opinion.
  17. Well I was looking into buying a new speedmaster even tho I already have 3 lol when I came across the following watch http://www.pc-80108.com/omsp10012-perpetua...dial-p-845.html I'm new to the rep scene and I was wondering if the real version of this watch exists. Either way I know that the sub dials on this watch don't work like a real chrono should but would the GMT hand work properly?
  18. During the past summer i spent 1 month in Beijing and of course I went to visit the well known silk market. At that time I didn't know much about the whole Rep scene and I was just looking into buying just about any watch that looked nice whether it was a good fake or bad. Needless to say I ended up buying some crappy fakes and some better ones. I got a 3 speedmasters, rolex day date and a aqua terra. I paid about 15$ per watch. Although I must say that after looking around this forum and the internet that the speedmasters are weak copies. They have faux chronos. Anyway I was looking into buying some more reps but 300$ for a rep is quite pricey even if the watch has a fully functional chrono Either way wish I found this Forum before I went to China LOL
