  1. What happened to Francisco
  2. Good choise man, it's really a beauty I hope you enjoy wearing it I hate these questions
  3. Sure, I'll make some tonight. The movement is a swiss 2836-2 and I swapped the rep overlay for the gen date wheel. Because the Rolex date wheel is thicker than the rep overlay, I removed the paint of the Eta date wheel and sanded it a little. Now the Eta + Rolex is the same thickness as the old Eta + overlay. (do I make myself clear? ) The whole modd was much easier than expected.
  4. Nice pics man! I would get a blue hornback for it. I always loved that combo. Question, what tool is this and where can I get it?
  5. Yep, you can just glue it on there. I know because I just did it last week
  6. Looks like they copied my idea to make some extra money
  7. There will be no way they can rep this. Chrono is much too complicated.
  8. Strap size is 20/18mm If I were you I would put a gen blue strap on it. Also a TWB blue croc white stich will look great I guess. Can you tell a little more about the gen movement? Who and how it's installed? Also, what did you/he/she do to make the rep hand fit the gen movement? Thanks! Sander
  9. Just see this for the first time. Have no idea how I could have missed it Really enjoyable to read and good to know that the quality isn't that bad as some people might say. The only difference I notice between the rep ones (after service) compared to gen movements (like IWC), is that the gen ones start to run as soon as you turn the crown, while the rep ones takes a few turns. Also the power reserve is less on the rep ones of course. So actually, why would you still buy a gen?
  10. Can't wait fot the review....
  11. I need to paint some hour marker white before I apply lume on it. What is the best paint to use? My experience is that the lume is pretty aggressive and dissolves the applied paint when you put it on. Can someone please let me know? Ciao, Sander
  12. I even think that the above model is younger than the other one. (ar on cyclops)
  13. In an other topic I asked the question if someone can tell me if the gen bezel en chrono hands are lumed as well. I'm still not sure. I just relumed the hour, minute hand and the dial and that looks great. I really don't bother that the bezel ring isn't
  14. A girl like she deserves an 18K with diamonds
  15. Question about the slevin.... are the chrono hands and bezel lumed on the gen one?
  16. Well I have checked your post but I have no idea what you mean with crystal work. You need a gen dial if you want to install a gen movement. The same as a gen dial won't fit a rep movement. If you use a gen movement with the rep dial, the date wheel won't line up with the date window of the dial. I have know idea how you are going to fix this....
  17. I guess they dropped a bottle of One Dip over it
