  1. I must say the white certainly does look nice. I'm planning on getting the asian version which I know doesn't have any AR. On the white dial version that wouldn't show up too much, but that doesn't concern me much at all. I care more about what looks better rather than which one looks more closer to gen.
  2. Whats your favourite dial color for the SOSF?
  3. Amazing collection, I especially love that 202/A. How amazing is it to own the same model worn by Stallone in Rambo
  4. Don't you just love those glowing edges photos, makes you see the watch in a totally different 'light'
  5. If any members want me to remove their photo, please PM me and I will remove immediately, (I just thought they look so cool )
  6. The watch is made from ceramics and it has a titanium clasp
  7. Thanks! You don't have to ask for that They're yours
  8. @Victoria: I hope you don't mind Nothing like a bit of Kirlian Wristshots (well almost like Kirlian photos )
  9. Awesome physique. You can tell this kind of physique takes a lot of discipline and hard work to achieve.
  10. Wow, I had no idea about that. I mean in Pumping Iron you can see him trying to psyche out Lou Ferrigno but most of the time it seemed like he was just messing around. Also according to Oliva and other bodybuilders too, Weider had 'favourites' who used to market his supplements, and in return he would fix the Mr Olympia contest to make sure they won. I don't know how much of that is true but look at the last Olympia Arnold entered, I think it was '82? That was a complete joke, he comes out of retirement and trains in only 6 weeks and wins... he was no where near the winner in that one.
  11. Messing about with photoshop: :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p
  12. Stunning watch. I would say that Panerai made their bracelet based upon the design on the VC Overseas bracelet. The designs are quite similar.
  13. How often are you planning on shaving your head?
  14. Try the tip of drying the blade immediately after shaving. You can also apply a little surgical spirit on it though I'm not sure if it has much difference apart from 'sterilizing' the blade. Nevertheless I read that it does help keep the blade sharp. From my experience, simply drying the blade after shaving has allowed me to use the same blade for more shaves than usual, in fact quite a bit more. EDIT TO ADD: Wilkinson currently have a buy one get one free deal on the blue II's
  15. I actually dont know how to use one, it was a barber who shaved my head with the straight blade Very close shave actually. Its also much more efficient as with a normal razor, the hair can get clogged into the blade, whereas on a straight razor you just wipe it after every few strokes. I have also seen straight razors with disposable blades, you might be able to sharpen them when they dull so that might be worth looking into if you want efficiency. Yes the electric razor is another option. I have never used one personally so I don't know how close it shaves, but I'm sure some of the better ones give a close shave. You can always do a 'once over' with a razor after the initial shave so you catch all the hair that you missed
  16. Hi TeeJay hows it going? Been a while since we last talked properly I have shaved my head in the past and do so occasionally. At the moment I just use clippers on grade 0 but obviously that doesn't give a close cut as a razor. I've also had my head shaved with a straight blade too but I don't own one personally. From what I have read and my own experience, the best way to prolong the life of your razors, is to immediately after you have finished, wipe the blade dry thoroughly. This prevents the water on the blade from 'oxidizing' (I think thats the correct word) and so prevents dulling of the blade. I think the contact of the water with the blade causes small rusting which can't be seen easily with the eyes which causes the blades to dull. Most people who do this usually also dab the blades with rubbing alcohol (thats surgical spirit for us Brits ) and this also helps prevent dulling of the blade.
  17. Pugwash, which religion teaches that humans are mere pawns with no control of our destiny? I can say that the religion I follow does not teach this. We are not mere puppets on a string where we have no free will in what we do. We do have free will in what we do, but we have to also take responsibilty for our actions. Did God send us to the moon? Well it was mankinds desire to reach the moon (and its doubted by some conspiracy theorists that we even reached the moon, but thats another topic ) However think of it this way, why are you even breathing and existing in the world right now? Study about how everything in the Universe is laid out so perfectly, that the Planet earth with us humans on it have not yet met any disasters which threaten to wipe us out. Look at the planetary systems and how they behave, gravity and what causes it and how its so crucial to our survival. There are many many such questions which humans presently simply can't answer and I don't think they will be able to answer these any time soon. Everything is too perfect, I believe that this is all the result of a higher being who has caused all this to happen, and not 'by chance'.
  18. I think it is best for TeeJay to answer those questions, all I can do is assume things but I am also talking from experience by having discussions with him about religion amongst other things. There are numerous references in the Quran about Jesus and his role/responsibility when he was here. It also makes clear in many verses that humans are not supposed to believe he was God. Heres one: Say: He is God, the One and Only God, the Eternal, Absolute. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him. (Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4) Another: "And behold! God will say [i.e. on the Day of Judgment]: 'Oh Jesus, the son of Mary! Did you say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God?' He will say: 'Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would indeed have known it. You know what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Yours. For You know in full all that is hidden. Never did I say to them anything except what You commanded me to say: 'Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I lived among them. When You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a witness to all things'" (5:116-117). Now, TeeJay being a Muslim, will of course believe the Quran, and especially so if he is a devout Muslim.
  19. Yes I understand what you mean Raijor, no one's religious beliefs should be poked fun at or attacked. However, that is what Muslims believe, that Judaism and Christianity is the corrupted form of God's message. I don't know much at all about Catholiscm, but again I don't believe a religion should be attacked/insulted. We can intelligently and maturely discuss different points about beliefs without resorting to insults. However I don't think TeeJay meant any malice in his statements even though he may have come across like that to others.
  20. @Lanikai I know exactly what you mean: Paris Hilton's dog 'Tinkerbell'
  21. @Raijor- Why the unfriendly rating to TeeJay? He was just outlining points of his beliefs, and we are all entitled to our beliefs. I don't believe he meant any malice with what he wrote. We can all debate 'which religion is the right one' all day long. At the end of the day its all about faith, we follow that religion which we believe to be the correct one based on scripture and evidence. From the way I see it all religions conflict each other, person A follows a religion he/she believes to be perfect and true, and person B finds 'faults and inconsistencies' with that religion. Similarly person A will find the same faults in the religion person B practices.
  22. I agree with you completely Dani. I know that its all in the training. Most of these guys get those dogs because they want to show off and try to look like someone you shouldn't mess with, or their dog will attack you. It wouldnt suprise me if they actually train their dogs to do this. I'm all for training dogs to become guard dogs, and thats one of the reasons I will take into consideration when I choose the breed of dog I will buy. Your pitbull looks really cute, (but also I know that it shouldn't be messed with ) I think I will look more into the breed you mentioned. Do you know what breed of pitbull is in that picture I showed?
  23. I've always wanted a dog since I can remember, but mum and dad said NO! I must admit, I am uncomfortable around dogs most of the time, especially the more 'dangerous' breeds that some owners seem to just unleash and let them wander about However I think dogs in general are such lovely animals. I definitely want to get one one day and I would say at the moment I like the German Shepherd (Alsation) ^^^ Aww aint that cute I also like Pitbulls: I think when properly trained they would be a good pet The majority of youths who want to look 'hard' often have pitbulls (I think) Rottweilers and Dobermans, in the UK at least. I'm not very good with names for breeds so I may be mistaken. In the US I think pitbulls are more popular with the 'hard' guys. Rottweiller Dobermans
  24. Sergio Oliva, perhaps the greatest bodybuilder ever. Started out as a weightlifter for the Cuban Olympic weightlifting team. I think he's the only bodybuilder to beat Arnold at Mr Olympia (which Sergio won 3 times). His arms were bigger than his head a true genetic freak
