No. The Aquaracer-family rubber straps have always utilised a tang buckle only. TAG Heuer simply don't make what you are seeking.
The only rubber deployment straps are the ones used on the racing Carrera and the new SLR - both of these use the foldover clasp that was developed for use with the leather-strapped Heritage/Classics line (Monza, Monaco, Carrera, etc.)
Thanks for the info, doc. Thats too bad there is no cure for the Aquaracer rubber strap. I may have to get creative and Frankenstein a strap or two to make one with a deployment. I am too lazy to buckle and I tend to want to put on/remove watches without patience
It appears that only the 'sportier' models get the deployment and the buckle is reserved for the Aquaracer.

I tried this watch on at my AD today and its unbelievable how light this watch is and how comfortable it is on the wrist! I would never have considered it until the salesgirl showed me the type of clasp it has. Very cool idea and a great watch. The gen rubber is just fabulous! The best feeling rubber strap I have had on before. It may be something other than rubber...maybe poly-something.
-
I am looking at purchasing an Aquaracer on rubber but I am not too keen on the buckle type that comes on the band. Is there a deployment clasp available for the Tag rubber straps? Is it available from our dealers so I can order one with my watch.
Thanks!

i wish quartz was an option. You could choose
Quartz
A7750
or Swiss ETA7750
How about a quartz sec@6 daytona in the near perfect noobfactory case? WBK has quartz HBB lites for just over $200.. he says same case, dial and strap as the HBB lite and ultimate, just with quarts movement and no AR like the lite version.
not bad... anyone know the weight difference between a A7750 and a quartz chrono?
A motor option in the same case and bracelet combination would be sweet! It really is a shame that most quartz reps have inferior dials, straps, and usually crystals as compared to their ETA and 7750 siblings.
I would also like to know how much of a difference in weight the movements make. I hear some say that the quartz reps feel light.
For the HBB quartz, I may think it has the soft rubber band ? Not the "resilient" ?I like the HBB. I didnt know they could be had for only ~$200. Is the soft rubber a deal breaker?

So.... while looking for my next Breitling I came across a few watches that I hadn't seen before (although most of you probably have). I never really considered a black watch or even a watch with a black rubber strap since I am a big SS fan but these sporty watches really caught my attention. I think they would be perfect for a day of sport riding on my motorcycle. I want an all black watch since most of the bike and my gear is black.
I would like to hear your thoughts about your favorite triple black watches. Here are some of the ones I like. I prefer larger watches 44mm and up but some of these are smaller.
Oris Williams F1 Link
Oris TT3 link
Tag SLR link
Ebel Red Chrono link
HBB Black Magic (this may be too expensive for me) link
Oh and heres the bike

I just started looking into Oris watches. I really like the all black F1. Searching for one as we speak! The gens are not tooexpensive. I really dont know too much about their quality, though.

Great info guys! I do appreciate all of your input. I have a bit more research to do before I pull the trigger on one.
@Pix - The caseback for the Motors T has the three bentley car profiles. The Bentley Motors caseback has the bentley logo at the top with the words Special Edition and some other text with the usual mispellings on the words Chronomeler and Swilzerland.
-
Well there is two different opinions!
After looking at the watches in the links Pix gave, the darker colored dials seem to be more accurate than the white which I always notice silvery dials. This is the one I will probably give a try. I really like the Motors T for its brushed finish and larger 49mm size and intend it to be my next purchase.
From the pictures it looks pretty accurate when compared to my Bentley Motors. The only flaws that I spot are on the dial: wrong subdial configuration and slightly inwardly spaced, black date font and possibly different font sizes in the outer bezel and the '30 Seconds Chronoghraph'. These seem very livable for the great price of $75.89! The case and bracelet seem exactly the same quality as my 7750 rep.
A couple questions for the experienced with these watches:
* Do they have the running seconds @ 9 like my 7750 Motors or does the large stopwatch hand tick with all its glory?
** If the seconds are @9 is the ticking very noticeable since the hands on the subdials are so small? If so...is the ticking close to a 21j style?
*** Is the watch lighter due to its quartz movement?
-
Ok...so I absolutely love my big, bad ass Bentley Motors I got from River earlier this year. I like it so much in fact that I want more! I want one maybe in each color! I want its twin- the Motors T, too! I also want a 6.75 and a GT! Unfortunately I cannot afford to drop such an insane amount of cash on this many watches so I was tinkering with the idea of getting some of these in [quartz] versions. Stop me here if this is a bad idea. Here are my thoughts...
The Bentley quartz models that I have seen pretty much are terrible copies and poor quality watches. Some have red hands on the chronos, some have silvery colored dials, some sweep the large stopwatch hand instead of the small chrono seconds hand, some are just plain cheap looking.
I am searching for one that is of equal build quality to my 7750 version but with a quartz motor. I want the one with the running seconds in the small chronos and with a very accurate and quality feel to it. I figure this way I could get several of the one I want and if I really grow fond I can purchase a 7750 model in the future.
Does anybody have any insight on these model quarts reps that I am searching for? I have heard people mention cqout and ioffer for these kind of items but I am hesitant to veer from our trusted dealers. I am sure they can get these also. I am hoping to hear from some experience on this.

I also was drawn into watches by the Navitimer. Although it was my first watch which I was passionate about.... my first rep ended up being a Breitling Bentley which I absolutely could not live without.
I have been looking for a good Navi to complement my Bentley and this write up will be a great tool. I really look forward to your future reviews and comparisons for the Navitimer World and the Montbrillant models.

Rolex Sub 19, thank you for the update and congrats on the watch. That is how this thread should be used. I am still waiting for mine to arrive. I have contacted TTK on RepGeek. After requesting my information again, he informed me that he would be shipping out my watch (black sub) Monday 3/24 or next time he is at the post office. I have not been informed if it shipped yet. It will be shipping via airmail which I have had several watches ship through recently and was quite fast. I hope it arrives soon.
I would recommend any others left from the group buy here that have not received their watch to also contact TTK and give him your information as it appears that he does not have the detailed information for each buyer saved elsewhere.
-
I am also awaiting my 16610 from the group buy. I was not expecting it to ship fast but the wait it quite long at this point. I just hope it arrives at all as I keep hearing stories of items that still havent been delivered from last year! This is my first purchase through TTK.
I have chatted with TTK several times before through Skype and the responses were very timely. This is very surprising to hear that so many are being ignored. I have not attempted to contact him yet since I am still hoping that mine will arrive any day now.

TTK,
Moneygram and my bank do not seem to like each other, so I'm just gonna drop payment with Western Union. Is there anything different, procedure-wise, using WU versus MG?
Thanks,
SR
I think you can send moneygram using a credit card online. This would avoid any bank transfer or confirmation issues. I plan on using this method once I receive payment details from TTK.

I'm not sure how to embed the Excel spreadsheet in this post....perhaps a Mod or a Techie can advise.....!
regards and thanks
TTK
TTK, try this.
ALT + PRINT SCREEN the spreadsheet and then PASTE it into a picture program such as PAINT and save it as a JPG picture file. Then attach it to your post via the normal method as a picture.
Hope this helps!
EDIT - just realized you wanted to imbed it in the post, not attach pic of it. glad to see you got it.

Hi all. I am looking for basic movement info on the most popular used movements in gens and reps alike. Things like bph, # of jewels, where its made, etc. on models such as 7750, 7750b1, and ETA 2671.
I want to find something like a chart or updated forum that helps describe the movements and their characteristics along with the details I mentioned above. Is there something like this in one place that I can be directed to for this information? Just wanting to further my watch knowledge to help me make better judgements when purchasing reps.
Thanks!
-
A good recommendation Andy! I originally wanted to go through TTK but I have not been able to contact him again since our last conversation on Dec 26th regarding a purchase and Reg is going to the Far East Jan 14th. I turned to Paul since I needed something a bit sooner and the watches I was ordering weren't higher priced reps. Since Paul has a multi-watch purchase special, I figured while I was placing an order I may as well pick up a sub if it were a noobmariner but I wasn't sure which one he carried. Do you know if it is the same as the TTK/Narikaa noobmariners?
-
So I was off doing my after Christmas shopping and saw that Paul has a pretty good sale on right now with 5% and 10% discounts available.
I was looking at subs on his site and was wondering if they are the same subs as the noob/nymphmariner or beginmariner. Does anybody know if which one Paul carries or if his are completely different?
TIA

ps. Feel free to set the time forwards or backwards, even past midnight.
Thats the last bit of info I've been searching for. Thanks!
Oh...and persuasion to say the least! I feel like I am breaking it every time I press the start and stop buttons.

Thats so funny you say that. I already feel so knowledgeable regarding watches now even with the little knowledge that I have when compared to my friends and my significant other. During my vacation last week I was even able to spot certain watch models and parts from afar! I know that sounds lame but it was fun!
After a year I still love this watch!

This is still my favorite watch right now gen or rep. I have a hard time deciding which I like better....the blue dial w/ ss or the black and rubber. HOT HOT HOT!
