I have been trying to contact Rocketeer for a couple of days, just want a time frame of when to expect my watch back. As yet not had any response, I m being patient and hopefully everything will be resolved for all. I used Jacobs services before he disappeared so I dodged that bullet, maybe its like the film final destination but death is just waiting to nick my watch.

I guess I should stop ramming them in till they wind , I just try and remember which way it came out and go from there. Not had a problem yet.

I ve no idea whats wrong with this movement, as mentioned above once its out of the case it runs fine. Could the dial be causing a problem ? Anyone have any ideas whats happening ? Its the 2813 movement in my watch, any help would be great.

My brand new watch is playing up, how do you remove the crown as I cant seem to get to the release pin ? **Nevermind, done it poorly lined up with the hole !**

Hope its just a slow time due to bank hols, I ve got incoming end of week.

I m sure you can mix lume to whatever shade you need, I m far too impatient to wait and too short on cash so I just went for pre mixed lume. With the marker being a slightly different colour yellow to the rest of the yellow dial paint that also throws it off. With time and skill you can solve these issues, but its still a secs@9, hands are back on and watch is being serviced and regulated by a pro Pics when it returns.

The lume is only cheap stuff I got off ebay from glow4u, I did not want to spend a fortune as I'm only learning at the min

Lume arrived today so had a mess around doing 12 marker and hands, pics : Hands painted better yellow and relumed First go at marker After some shaping Final shaping as I d be here for weeks under a microscope if I did nt stop ! Its a little off centre but I m pleased with the end result as zoomed in the camera makes it look awful, just got to put the hands back on now ...... yikes ! Hi All, Ever since I stumbled upon the EODs on time zone I wanted one, when angus solved the case back issue I had to buy. Now we may get a secs@12 variant, but if they do what they always do it will still have issues. So I decided to make the most of my EOD. we know the issues missing 12 marker see below: poor cyclops, wrong coloured hands and poor lume. Now I started to formulate a plan to add the 12 marker, using four bits of paper and sellotape I measured the gen for size and made a sort of stencil see below: It needs a bit of shaping using something sharp under the loupe but its a start, the hands were simple just painted a better yellow. I need to buy some lume to finish the marker and hands but I m happy with progress so far I wont relume the numbers til I can practice luming alot. If anyone knows where to get a good cyclops I d like to hear from you. Without everyones posts on modification I would not have had the inspiration to start my own mod, so I thank all modders for there help. Also please excuse my pictures you can see why I didnt enter the photo comp, I suck big time.

Quite normal, in my eyes. Perhaps thats what the other people in my head shout at me for. Buy an aardvark named walter, thats my suggestion Pro plus and red bull now that was caffiene gone wrong !

Guys Being bored is never good when you have tools and no talent, so I m waiting for the secs @12 EOD to be made and decide to botch I mean mod my angus special. Started thinking how to add the 12 oclock marker its only 1mm by 2mm, bought the smallest paintbrush from a model making shop but had an epiphany while playing with the cat. One of his wiskers came out a while back and the misses kept it. Et voila a tiny paint brush ideal for details, not sure if the dial is going to make it needs a second coat tomorrow so will have to wait. So back to topic - whats the weirdest thing you ve used during a watch mod ? And to add no cats were harmed during the modding of this watch Cheers, DH.

Someone once said "its a funny old game", Coming from liverpool and going to both anfield and goodison as a child. I can say you pick the faith in your team up from your Dad, you are taken to the match for the first time when your a child and its intense. When my ex girlfriend had a baby a few years back I bought him a Liverpool kit so the first picture of him was him in his tiny kit, He is a little liverpool supporter now. I dont agree with the wages, but who you support from childhood doesnt change because they turned the game into a business.
