First of all, I have to say thank you for having a forum like this! I have been googling pams for awhile, and this website has helped eliminate all the other sketchy sites. As mentioned, I am looking to purchase my first Pam...I have narrowed it down to, the 111h, 172 (love the blue hands, and polished and brushed finish), and maybe the 253, which ones do you prefer and why? My main concern about my purchase is out of the box durability and functionality (including good crown latch thingy, and good lume). I am not overly concerned about the descripencies btw gen and rep...this the noobie state of mind. And I would also like to have good quality delployment style type straps (tan, and black), not sure how easy it is to change straps...may just have to order two!...which by the looks of it, seems to be a low number, with the number of enthusists on this board! As for the movements, not sure if I should pay particular attention to asian or swiss specifically...which one is better? Also, are there any dealer preferences? I am leaning towards TWP or Angus - not sure about shipping times but I live in Canada, and will only be here for another 4 weeks. My apologies, it seems that this has turned into a rather long post, any insight you can provide is greatly appreciated! Cheers.
