  1. Hello, everyone

This time I bought the mini version of the original 5712 -- 5015 (the old version) at a huge cost. They have the same movement, the difference is that there is no PP engraving on the 5015 movement, and the end of the minute hand is not bronzed. The new 5712 minute hand has a bronze top.

The 240 is a relatively complex and basic movement with many models in use. For example, 6102p/6104g for $400,000 or 6000g/6000r for $20,000 are different only in function modules.

The display functions of this movement are: hour hand, independent small second hand, pointer calendar, moon phase, power reserve

But 5327, for example, would be: hour hand, quarter, month, date, moon phase and am/pm. That is, we say the perpetual calendar function, automatically adjust the difference of the month and so on... I won't go through them all today.

The 240 movement on the 5712 is the only multifunctional movement with a 1:1 modeling after the 324 movement. By disassembling and comparing them, we can see that the quality of this movement is very good. But I think the price is rather high. Of course, this is the decision of the movement factory and the watch factory, we can't control it.DSC_7230.png

  2. Hello everybody!

I’m back with Clean 3285 movement(from Dandong) compared with GEN and Shanghai 3285 movement. We disassembled all the movement parts and took pictures in detailswe found some differences following below.

      1. The power reserve of genuine movement and clean 3285 movement are about 65-70 hours, and the power reserve of Shanghai movement is 40 hours. However, we couldn’t know the exact duration of Shanghai movement due to our hasty time . I hope it can also be stable, so that our clients would have more choices.

      2. Most of genuine and Clean 3285 movement parts can be interchanged with each other. The Shanghai movement uses 3135 as basto modify into 3285 movement, not a 1:1 clone movement. So the movement parts can be very different, such as the crafting, size, and the precision of it.

      3. The Clean 3285 movement is based on the Dandong 3235 movement added with  the GMT module, so there is no doubt that the stability and power reserve would be as good as always. I'm sure it will work perfectly.

      4. According to Clean factory, the Dandong 3285 movement will be exclusively provided to them.

During the disassembling, I can really feel the quality between these two movements.  As I know, Clean 3285 movement itself would be about 50 dollars more expensive than other factories’, and you can already see the difference here.

If there are other factories that can offer better accessories, people who don’t really care about power reserve will also purchase their products.

    Let's have a look!

CTime -- Thanks for the great photo layout.

I have a Clean 116508 with the v1 A4130 & replaced many of the parts with gen parts (including balance & balance bridge), so I know the movement is an accurate clone.

The V2 version looks better, but it would be nice if you could improve the pallets & bridges with stampings on them. I believe those are the weakest points, even in the V2.

Otherwise, I have previously sung the praises of Clean in my recent Something, this way comes 1165xx Daytona threads.

Thank you! I will let them know!

And I'm really curious about your work on the balance bridge, may I see some pictures? I haven't see anyone finished this interchanging.

  4. Hi, greetings to all!

We did a dismantling comparison between the gen 4130 movement and the clean 4130 movement.

This movement has been in the market for many years, and it is one of the few Daytona chronograph movements that is known for its ultra-high stability.

Clean has been using 4130 movement for about a year. Comparing to the previous 4130 movement from Noob, this movement has been polished, accessories have been upgraded. It is called v2 4130 movement for others.

We carefully photographed all parts and found that some parts are slightly different in polishing. After all, the price of the movement differs by 50 times. Most of the accessories can be exchanged with gen. So there is no doubt that this is the best replica movement in the world.1.jpg2.jpg65.jpg66.jpg67.jpg69.jpg70.jpg71.jpg72.jpg73.jpg75.jpg68.jpg74.jpg76.jpg77.jpg78.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg9.jpg10.jpg11.jpg12.jpg13.jpg14.jpg15.jpg16.jpg17.jpg18.jpg19.jpg20.jpg21.jpg22.jpg

    See you next time~
