The white-faced pams are always my fav (well,...look at my avatar) and I was really excited when H fact came out with 113/114 models a month ago. I wanted to wait for the Noob to bring out some battle but they are so silent so I couldn't resist anymore... H-fact 113 it is...
I haven't seen many threads about newly released 113/114 so I decided to take some shots and hope it helps ppl in making decision about them.
Nothing to say much regarding the case construction, sapphire, etc etc.. coz it should be the same set as other handwound H-fact PAMs. The focus of this should be on the "dial". We all knew by heart that there is no rep white-faced dials coming close to gen at all. I think that's still the fact. This H-fact 113 dial almost made it but it still lacks the enamel-like surface finishing. The dial is glossy but not so enamel like. The indices are raised and super glossy which is quite accurate as per gen. The lume dots are great, very white in daylight and glow bright in the dark as expected but they could be more refined since there appear some lume texture in the dark. The subdial has concentric circles but even in my own hand, I still can't figure out if it's recessed or not. It looks like the concentric circles are stamped above the dial to create the subdial. If anyone have this, please confirm. I'm really not sure since I don't have a loupe.
That's all the observations I saw with it in my hands. This is not a review, only a pictorial thread so you can see more clearly what to expect. I'm not good at macro at all and without a tripod, these are the best I can do.
