Hi,
I'm pretty new to the replica watch world, well very new. I've found some interesting stuff on the net, and the sheer volume of scammers/sites selling cheap junk is pretty scary. I've come across this forum and one other that seems to be the "goto" for information and help.
I was reading through the "noob read here" threads and found some pretty useful information of how to probe a little for more inforamtion, plus I also found a few of the links in the noob thread broken so I thought it worth trying to dive in and dig a little for more information.
I'm looking to source a ICW 5004 replica, there is a limited edition model that's got a black face and blue markings on it, I've seen it advertised on various replica watch websites, with varying prices from $100 to $700, all advertising slightly different spec, winding/movement/attention to detail etc.
If we could park the cost issue for one moment, and focus on basic functionality, keeping time and component quality outside paying $40,000 for a new one, who are the trust worthy quality makers that are the solid "goto" guys for IWC stuff, basically you pay for a quality watch rather than a watch that trys to look quality.
Then narrow it down to who can get the slightly more unusual watches, such as the one I'm looking for (although it can't be that unusual as I've seen it all over the web).
The noob forum posts suggests getting what you want clear in your head, which hopefully I've spelt out, finding out some informations on options available and then moving forward from there.
So who are the high quality IWC makers I should be looking at as safe bets especially for someone new to the watch world.
thanks.
