SilverG
Hey Guys, Got a couple of questions if you don't mind. I have the SSD v2, and am not sure if it's a mineral or real sapphire crystal. I put a very light hairline scratch on the crystal. Isn't sapphire supposed to be scratch proof? Is there anyway I can get the scratch removed? Is it maybe a mineral crystal? The watch was purchased from Trusty... Thanks guys
caruwe
Hi, you can polish it out with diamond paste. I have tried it a few times and it worked. If it is hardened mineral glas you can polish it out with 1,5 micro meter paste. If it is saphir you go a little higher with the grain and take 2,5 micro meter paste.
