Long Island GTG

Hey all-

First off let me say I am so damn happy RWG is up and running! And thanks to the mods for giving us RG refugees a place to run and hide

The Long Island GTG has been scheduled for the 18th of July.

I've got 60 burgers, 40 Nathans dogs and a bunch of snacks laid in with a good supply of adult malt beverages.

40x20 inground is open and reasonably warm and the kneebiter has his XBox 360 set up and has all kinds of age-appropriate things for children from 5-ish up to Jr. High.

Steaks and crab legs are on the menu as well depending on turnout.

This is a no-charge GTG although showing up with a 6 pack of unusual microbrews is encourgaed.

I am from Long Island originally. Merrick to be exact. Times like these I wish I was still there. Then I look out my window and see the ocean and remember why I moved to Florida in the first place LOL.

Very nice gesture. Sounds like it will be fun and with your location people from NYC and NJ should be able to make it. Good luck. Be sure to post some pics of the GTG. Make me sentimental for my home town.

Definitely going to be a good time.

The GTG has been posted across a few other forums- figure it'd be nice to get a bunch of different regulars in one place.
