Removing PVD or DLC coating? How?

Anyone know a good way to remove PVD or DLC without sanding?? I Have a Gen Panerai bezel that was either DLC'd or PVD'd and I'd like to remove it... I was thinking with heat as there's no pearl or anything that would be damaged... Any help would be great

Heat won't do it. The easiest way is to blast it off.
