fritz Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Hi all; Ingredients: 1- crown that broke off 2- gen replacement crown 3- gen "old navitimer" dial 4- a guy who knows how to fix watches... before (the dial with these horrible stickers on the subdials): after: Oliver has been busy a while with a dremel to fix this for me; but the result is stunning. Now finally the numbers on the dial have this "goldish" reflection, and the subdials have this nice "smokey" color! Will be hard to seperate it from a gen at first sight. The wristshot doesn't show it; but I'll try to catch it with new pics.. Many thanks to Oliver who did a fantastic job at a friendly price..
coolfire Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Great work dude (repaustria)! Wear it well, fritz... you must really be enjoying it now... Erm... by any chance you have a genuine Bentley GT dial? hehe...
DuDro Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Very Nice! I like how the date wheel on this version is closer to the dial...
