ryyannon
Many of you have long suspected that there was something not quite right me...and as matter of fact, you're right. I'm finally coming out....and admitting that Crop Circles interest me. This one comes from Alton Priors in Wilshire England. There are 8, 12 and 16 twists in the three squares. 8 + 12 + 16 = 36. 1 + 2 + 3 + ... + 36 = 666. Even if it is man-made (ie, by Pugwash during one of his 'multi-tasking' sessions at work rather than by Nekkid Monsters from Outer Space), you have to admit that it's pretty neat. The second is from Hackpen Hill..... Associated commentary (not mine): "The crop circle depicts the three generations of pairs of quarks, one with positive charge, the other with negative charge (Yang/Yin symbol). The 32 circles denote the 32 components of the Dirac bispinor wave function of 10-dimensional superstrings. Only a professional particle physicist could have the knowledge to hoax this. But how many of them are crop circle makers?" And for your viewing pleasure, another one from Ogbourne St George, England:
Everythingape
You are not the only one fascinated by these, rya.. I like the dynamic shape of them, and the sheer beauty of it all. The few circles people have made under surveillance, to prove that they ARE man made, look like complete and utter [censored] compared to these elaborate works of art. my personal favourite: http://www.jp-petit.com/nouv_f/Crop%20Circ...tions/crop6.jpg

Another fact is that no one has ever seen anyone creating any one of the minimum of 10,000 circles that have been documented worldwide since the 70s. Here are links to two sites which examine the phenomenon from what is claimed to be a scientific (including peer-review) point of view: http://www.bltresearch.com/plantab.html http://www.greatdreams.com/crop/hoax/hoax.htm Personally, I have no interest in convincing either myself or others that these phenomena are either man-made or not. Like you say, "I like the dynamic shape of them, and the sheer beauty of it all..." (they are) "elaborate works of art."
