truedis
Hey guys, I have a couple questions for you guys and would like your input if I could. First I'd like to preface this by saying that I've been a long time reader of this forum and many of the other rep forums out there. I have purchased many reps in the past - the majority of them rolex. Currently I am looking to acquire a new tt secs@6 daytona. I've purchased a few daytonas in the past with seconds at 6 and I have to say I honestly don't mind the issues with the movement. As much as people say that the movement is temperamental (and it definitely is); if it ends up not working after a week then that's just luck of the draw, but for some reason I'm just drawn to these watches. So that being said I've been looking at a watch on Josh's site (RLDT10031, you can find this under the two toned daytonas at the bottom of the page). This watch seems to be the most current tt daytona he sells, however it lacks the new clasp that these newer gen daytonas have. I find that although there are some things wrong with this recreation that scream fake (such as the rehaut depth and case thickness) something that seems like a no-brainer to fix would be the clasp/bracelet. I was curious that if i was to purchase a bracelet from a TT anni gmt (can be found on his site under GMT Master and RLGT00088) this would solve the bracelet issue. I wonder if anyone has had experience with something like this or could lend some insight as to whether or not this bracelet would even fit this watch. Also if there is another daytona I should be looking at (I really enjoy dealing with Josh and he's always been good to me in the past) from him or from someone else, please let me know. Also if you guys have any other input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, Graham
fakemaster
If the link construction is the same yes it will fit. The screws may point in the opposite direction but that isn't a biggie.
