daevildog Posted August 23, 2010 Report Share Posted August 23, 2010 Found the sapphire domed crystal of my Cartel Ultimate Fiddy (with Swiss movement) had exploded/cracked while resting in my watch box... Always been meaning to upgrade the watch given the crappy dial with incorrectly shaped numbers and horrible lume. Guess the 6152 and 3436 project gets pushed back another couple days. Pictures of the rebuild using Southy dial, DSN Hi-Plexi and Lum-tec GX10. The final result, a 4-Liner, will have to get around to reshaping the case, adding a Okabum CG, and putting in a better plexi at some point. Turned out pretty well for half a days work...
