Marsh
I have a PAM 88 and this morning I rinsed it off under the tap. I got to the office and noticed that now I have some moisture under the crystal. Whta's the best way to correct this problem?
Highflyingclive
Open the crown.. place (crown uppermost) in a warm place... an airing cupboard or boiler-room is good. Then send it to your favourite watchmaker for proper water-resistance servicing. Or it will happen again.
sssurfer
Putting a bag of silica gel in the warm place together with the watch may even speed up the happy end. Btw, better letting the watch completely cool down before reinserting the crown, to test whether moisture has really vanished also under normal temperature conditions.
