nakortheblue
So mrs nakortheblue needs a new ultra-compact point-and-shoot to replace her aging Canon IXUS 70. It has to be light and thin - it will be in her handbag on a daily basis. Mostly for taking photos of food (she's a die-hard foodie) and social occasions. I'll probably also use it occasionally for watch photography. After reading a few reviews, I've more or less settled on Sony's DSC-TX1 which has the new Exmor R sensor which seems to be the best for the category. My main concern is low light photography which are generally a weakness for ultra-compacts. Some reviews say the TX1 is very good at low light, others say that it is mediocre. If you have a TX1, please share your experience here. Thanks, R
