gimme Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Bought a BCE and it looks fine. Nevertheless, when the chrono buttons are in this position, chrono doesn't work. But when I unscrew the chronos, they work fine. Is this something that's easily fixable or should I return to dealer? Thanks
rek001 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 You're fine - the knurled collar around the pusher should be un-screwed when you want to use the chrono, then screwed back down again to lock and disable the pushers. Very nice watch, enjoy it.
gimme Posted November 7, 2010 Author Report Posted November 7, 2010 Cool! I assume it's the same for the gen?
jchurch Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 It is the same on the genuine... I believe this is what makes them water resistant. It is the same on the panerai ferrari that I have.
Bike Mike Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 A lot of Chrono pushers work this way. It allows them to be water tight when in the locked-down position.
