i bought a rlx daytona with leather strap

i'd like put a steel bracelet but is not possible becouse near the case there is the first piece of bracelet attacked

the question is: for you is it possible to remove this steel piece or it is settled? if i look it i do'nt think it is settled

what you advise me? i do'nt want ruine the watch

i think the metal part on the lugs is a part of the case and the models that came from the factory with a strap cannot accept a bracelet. The case and lug shape is different.
