Fix or replace scratched hands

Hello All,

I have a pretty nice 112 franken with gen dial and cartel hands that have been relumed. Someone either installed the hands not at midnight or they started to slip. I pulled the hands off and reset them, but when I pressed them on with my hand tool it looks like some of the paint on the post of the minute hand has now come off.

Is there any way for me to fix this or do I need to buy a new set of hands? I'd hate to have to buy new hands as the ones I have are SL and match the dial well, but I do want to keep the watch looking good and chipped paint doesn't look very good.

You can try to fix them with help of toothpick and some matte paint, I usually use water based paint`s. Under class is usually no moisture, so it does not have to be water resist paint.

But IMHO if you have gen dial, don`t spoil your project with repaired hands set, buy a new one.
