winter99 Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Hi all, new to the hobby and planning on the PP Aquanaut on rubber for my first purchase. After reading, I'll probably be using Josh. In choosing a model, though, I've noticed that there seems to be two versions of this watch, with one labeled "V2". Is this to reflect changes in the gen that were carried to the rep, or is "V2" a more accurate rep? A little confused. Thanks for the help, glad to be here.
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Yes the v2 is more accurate, if you dont count for the movement. The movement on both the v1 and v2 is NOT accurate (but hey, keep the watch on the arm). But the v2 is the best out there and its the correct size, jumbo! Go for the V2 m8 its a great watch i hade it a feq years back.
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 Here is a pic of my v2 with ss band. The watch is long gone but i liked it very much, i hade the rubber strap also to go with it. And i think i liked the rubber more. And i have painted my deck now so dont give me a hard time
HPoirot Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I'm planning on getting the aquanaut with an additional rubber strap. Is it difficult to swap between the two? I have the rubber on my PO too, but swapping them is a huge pain.
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Yeah its a pain on this ones two but ones you have done it a cuple of times its not that hard.
