Have it serviced.

Make sure they have experience with modified 7750's, though.

How old is it?

If it is the early version, it is best to replace it with the latest ... and before the question is asked, the only way I can tell is to remove the hands and dial, and the coverplate for the date platform.

ok, thanks! I got it 2 years ago... From where can I get a new 7750 movement without buying a complete watch?

Glenn,

You might want to post a WTB, or contact Concpeta.

I have them on occasion, before I ship to off to be serviced.

The last one I got is not working properly.

Know that even if you buy a movement from someone, it will need to be serviced.

You could have a 'latest' version.

You seem to be avoiding servicing, why?

I have the impression that it will need frequent services... How often do it need to be serviced?

Glenn,

I've written alot about this on RG. The short answer is, that if it is serviced correctly and nothing breaks, I think it is reasonable to expect 18+ months. Even with the cost of more frequent services, this is a good value as compared to an IWC cal 79350.

Great!! Do you know anyone in northern Europe who does service?

I know Rolexman works on these, and he is in the EU.

And you might ask FixerAndy.

Otherwise, take a look where we have our watchsmiths and ask them if they will work on a A7750 sec @ 6.

Good luck,

Mike
