I am with Chief on the gen. Although I would guess based on older gens I have seen that the cyclops have improved over time so it is possible earlier models were plastic. On the standard ETA 2892/DD movement the cyclops is plastic.

Miocrow, you have to be careful. The choice of substrate affects the cyclop design (curvature, thickness). Maybe you already know that. Either way, my first question would be: what problem are you trying to solve? Is the rep cyclop not powerful enough?

I'm no AP expert in any way (don't even own a rep of one), but I do know that member "caruwe" sells AR coated cyclops for the AP ROO. Dunno which material they are made of but if you contact him I'm sure he will be able to answer.. :)

I tried to send a PM but it wont go

Anyway here part of the PM

Im working on a project and need AR cyclops (50). I think its easier and cheaper to place an order in China with a lens company versus open 50 AP and take the cyclop out and do AR treatment. I do like the Rep cyclop I just want AR the cheap and easy way.

Do you have other ideas or solution?
