seconds@12 extra jewel

very sorry, if this question has been asked before....(it probaly has a million times but I did not see a search function on this site)

Is the current selection of seconds@12 offered by dealers including the extra jewel? or it is by specfic model only?

I was looking for a Black Themes but really did not want to have to send it out for a service before I got to wear it properly.

I am usually over at RG but this AP section seems more active(sshhh)

Hi mate... I am very new to AP and by no means even close to an expert. But I am pretty sure the new version seconds@12 has an extra jewel which, at least according to the dealers, has fixed the problem. I received ny Safari about 5 days ago and it is absolutly magnificent and keeps perfect time (touch wood).

However according to many members here its not as bad as it used to be, but still would need a servicing to be trouble free. Just shoot an email to your dealer to confirm. Hope it helps

The extra jewel can be very helpful - provided all the parts around it are appropriately oiled and the movement is clean of debris. That is always the mystery question. Although I would prefer the extra jewel it wouldn't stop me from buying an earlier model I particularly wanted.
