billywhiz
Hi guys, The hour hand on my Pam 196 is loose, just needs resetting on the spindle. Can I do this myself, i.e remove caseback and take movement out to push hand down ? If so can you advise how the movement comes out of the watch ? - not done this on this watch and don't want to undo something thats gonna go ping and fly under the sofa... Is this an easy thing to do or should I take it to a watchsmith - i.e what screws etc I need to undo to remove crowns etc, cheers
RWG Technical
A good rule of thumb for watchmaking...if you have to ask...you're in over your head. Find someone locally who is competent and can do the work for you, that is your best option.
Watchmeister
If you have never uncased a watch, removed hands or adjusted hand tubes which is an art unto itself run to a watchsmith.
