chronos666
Was thinking of getting just the dial and handset, for my old explorer II with silver lume marker rings. http://imgur.com/a/AusUa My question is, if I pop off the old dial, how is it held in place, do they just glue them on? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
hiker01
First off....you have to know if that dial is compatible with your movement. Dials have feet on them that is sized according to the movement they're going to. You glue the dials if the feet are off (remove the feet first of course), but you have to make sure that the date window is of the same alignment...... the thickness of the new dial could also be a problematic...... My 2 cents!
chronos666
Thanks Hike. Thought it should work as they are both Asian 2836 mvmnt. Have changed the hands before just never removed a dial.
