simca85 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Share Posted February 24, 2012 Hello everyone, I am considering buying a PAM or IWC Big Pilot (price range $300-$500) rep. At first, I almost bought one of them from one of the dealers, however I am currently checking out "For Sale" forums and trying to find a used rep. Advantages in my opinion would be, that "used" rep would be modified, lumed, AR and etc..., but it's also more expensive. What is important for me? I would like to buy a watch that's pretty accurate and similar compared to the genuine watch and would last me for a few years. From your experience, would you rather buy one from the dealer or be patient and try to find a "used" rep from one of the owners here? Thank you for your opinions. Adeodatus Posted February 24, 2012 Report Share Posted February 24, 2012 Modded "used". No question about it. If you are really into this whole reps game you'll get you OOB TD piece modded anyway. On the other hand modding is fun. If I were you - get the first watch modded, (just to enjoy wearing it), get OOB's later to enjoy the modding game.
