Omega 300m Chrono Diver Dial

I ordered a watch from a dealer last week, everything was fine up until he sent me the QC pictures... He said that the Noob factory no longer makes the updated dial version with the correct OMEGA lettering (lines connecting the letters through the middle)? He said there's no way for him to get me the correct dial. The news is disappointing, but I'm unconvinced since I saw another recent thread with the same watch that has the updated dial (from another dealer). Should I ask for a refund now and try another dealer or will it be the same?
