JJFlash
Help me out here guys. Suffering a memory lapse. If you take a Pam 111G model and put a solid case back on it, what model does it then become? If I recall properly, some members here took their early 111G's with the incorrect appearing movement and placed a solid caseback on them to cover the glaring mistake on the back. Others have apparently changed out the old movement for the newer version now available. Thanks guys,

JJFlash
To more thoroughly confuse me now I find this at a Panerai site: "The Pam 1 is a Luminor Marina with a seconds hand dial at 9 o'clock. The seconds hand enables the Marina line to qualify for a COSC certificate. In 2002 (E series) the entire "Historic" line was changed to a sapphire display back using a new movement with a swan's neck regulator." So the 001 was a solid back until 2002 when they then changed it to a display back? Did this model then become in fact the 111 model?
