gt rider Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) I just received a DOA 21j Breitling not from a TD (I know..let's move past that) and I'm wondering if and what I might be able to do to repair it. I have worn it, spun it around, hand-wound it and I still can't get it going. It did go for about 20 seconds and stop again at one point. I have read that it might be easier to replace the whole movement but that is not something I want to do now so I'm looking for repair tips.. On another note, which way does a 21j movement wind if putting the watch in a winder? And when hand-winding, you turn the crown clockwise? Thanks Edited August 25, 2012 by gt rider
