New to IWC where should I start!

I am thinking about getting into the IWC scene and am curios which IWC is best out of the box? I probably won't go nuts on it like I do my rolexes but I definitely don't want obvious flaws and tells. so which model should I start with thats really good? any input is greatly appreciated!

Also I have small wrists so I am not particularly looking for something massive and in charge just something very accurate

3717 for the beginning

DECENT strap, eg Rios

later get Taka xstal or get your AD'd with dial relume

later gen dial/hands/tube with crown

and voila ! you are a happy owner of a frankenstain

For the best OTB rep, I'd recommend the mark XVI instead. Or maybe one of the Portofino Automatics if you're into dressier watches.

You can buy the gen for $4000 USD or less so I would stay away from gen movement, dial, etc. frankens. I evaluated all the options and decided to go with an older Swiss 7750 movement, gen dial and hands for 400 Euro's or so (not sure they are available anymore though) and declared victory.
