Uhrenfreund25
Hi! My Ingenieur also has the dial problem as you can see here... Is it possible to fix this problem with a dial-swap? I'm not sure, because the ring where the defects are noticeable is (as you can see on the pic) a bit above the dial (Ingenieur-owners know what I mean). Has someone tested a dial swap? Thank you! Guest Sql_pl
Hi there, sorry for not responding to your PM. I got a replacement dial today from out best of the best EL. The ring above the dial is not a separate part - it is a part of the dial. The thing is - the replacement dial is also chipped.... it looks much better than the one I got in my watch as it is chipped pretty badly and my 1 and 2 that create 12 marker were off. Will try to swap the dial tomorrow and we will see. The problem causing that chipping is the fact that those markers on the upper dial seem to be sticked on - you remember those stickers where you have to get that sticker wet, then place it on the surface and let it dry... like in aeroplane models... Cheers!
HauteHippie
The ring above the dial is not a separate part - it is a part of the dial. How lovely. My replacement dial is due any day now from EL as well. I guess all I can do is keep my fingers crossed. *sigh*
