correctime Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Would anyone happen to know the overall length of the stem and crown (early 703 SS) on a 16800 Submariner ? Building from scratch and had nothing to measure for referrence. Thanks in advance guys.
redwatch Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 I always just cut down little by little. I've tried the measuring trick and it never seems to work out for me very well.

Stem length can vary depending on tube used and actual case etc. I always start with the stem in the movement and place the movement in the case and see where the stem actually meets the case on the inside and them mark the location of the stem and start at the median of the two marks.
