scotty
Ok. Couple of weeks ago I received my IWC V2 44mm Top Gun (not the dopple). Crono pusher got stuck in so went to a watchsmith and he managed to fix. All seemed good. Then couple of days later 2 problems arose: (1) the hour and minutes hands stopped moving at 00.30, but the seconds continued. This coincided with the day wheel not changing over (date yes; day no). (2) in using the crono the pusher stuck again. In freeing it it came out! Both pushers can be pulled out with minimal effort. I've been back to a watchsmith twice and he has tried to fix these, but they keep comming out. Now have paid like €70 for the 2 visits. Am in contact with the dealer awaiting reply on what to do. But - has anyone had such experience? i'm thinking the day wheel can be resolved with a movement service (am based in EU so need to locate someone trustworthy), but the worrying thing for me are these damn crono pushers. Thoughts guys? Should this be returned, or keep tryong to fix here in EU? Thanx
gmtlover
just sent it to a watchsmith in the EU, he can fix it. daywheel is an easy fix. Chrono think so too. Domi does a full service for 150 and fix the datewheel too. maybe if you ask nice he will include the fixing of the chrono hands too!
