rbj69 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 this is how i do it ,it does a more accurate hole and then this is what i use the clean it up on the buffer like so showing u in this pic how small the jewelers press really is , remember there is always the right tool to make the job better , that is the difference in oval holes and straight holes , doing it by hand u must hold the case really steady and be careful not to slip this pics is showing u the vise i use to hold the case in place while i drill a very accurate hole , more than likely this is the same way the experts do it then i use a diamond graduated point to ream the hole ever so slightly u dont want it to bevel too much and then i use this buffing wheel to bring back that polished finish remember sometimes the preholes r angled the dril press tends to straighten them out a bit , hope this small tutorial helps u, just trying to do what i can to help u guys out , enjoy
