rich
i just got my 1st rep, a brietling bently from eddie lee and i love it!! bloody thing's big though! anyway, e.l. sent some instructions about setting it, which i did no problem. my questions are these: 1) to wind the watch, pull out the crown 1 notch and then- which way do i wind it: clockwise or couterclockwise? it seems that it is tougher to wind it clockwise but it kind of ratchets ccwise? pls clarify this for me. 2) how do i return the sweeping hand back to 12 o'clock. there are 2 buttons on the side. the top starts and stops it. the 2nd does squat. what gives? thanks!! Highflyingclive
Its an automatic - no need to wind it. Just give it a gentle shake to get it started - then wear it. I have a couple of autos that have power reserve indicators. I find that wearing them for an hour is enough to get them fully wound. If you must wind, then turn the crown gently, slowly, clockwise. The chrono probably won't work properly until the watch is fully wound. The lower button should return the chrono to zero.

Finepics
It will do no harm to wind the 7750 movt before wearing it for the first time. 20 turns is enough to power it up then wearing it keeps it topped up. The only movts that require gentle slow winding are the ETA 28xx series as their clutch mechanisms are different so need care.
