JoeLouis
I know plenty of reps are being made with 316L steel or 316F. I was eye shopping the other day and looking for a belly ring for a lady friend, and i noticed all the rings said "316L Surgical Steel". I bet most people dont know jack about steel grades, but i have read a bit and know plenty of my rep pals know a thing or two about all sords of steel used on reps and in general. Anyways, im 50/50 on wether the 316L is actually surgical grade steel or is it a misleading ad, just saying that the 316L steel is safe and clean for piercings. What do you think? Any rep geeks know a thing or two about steel?
B3nj4min3
Surgical could refer to 0% Nickle content as some people can have allergic reactions to Nickle which is sometimes added to certain stainless steels. Besides that, I don't know what else it could be.
