Navitimer Serie Speciale

Trying to make a decision on my next purchase...Navitimer. After reading, researching, etc. all the great reviews and posts I am still torn between the Serie Speciale model or the new 6-9-12 dial layout. I like both layouts but it's obvious the 3-6-9 model has a better date font and depth...

Below is a picture of Andrew's SS model from his website...to me the date font looks closer to the gen than any other i have seen...has anyone out there recently bought this model and or have a picture in double digits for the date?

Opinions and advice welcomed and appreciated...
