Rolex Day-Date II advice?

How's it going guys? I'm new to this forum although I've been on RWI for a few months. So have patience with my newb questions lol. I'm in the market for a Rolex day date II. I've been looking at marvellous reps and I narrowed down my choice to the black dial watch. I have a few questions about the watches: do the bands get locked up? I've seen a few other cheap reps that friends have owned and the band gets locked up and stuck. I've never purchased such an expensive rep so I don't really know what to expect. Also, is Asian movement really that big of a deal?
