hiker01
Why would you do such a thing? I don't think the rep SS Diver's movement was refurbished to be displayed....just my en-educated opinion!

For me it's about as getting as close to gen as possible...... I do agree that it is about doing what you want and like though.... and you can always go back... As Oscar Wilde said.. Fashion is what one wears oneself.... What is unfashionable....... Is that ...... that others wear !!!!!
Nightwatch
The movement is so nicely done it deserves to be seen. If You manage to get the caseback just do it, it will give You something original to look at and to show. You can change it back anytime, so I don´t see a problem at all. Wish You luck. sirdiesel
Thank you thats very nice of you i have a big thing for movement parts.. so i enjoy just as much taking my watch off in the day and staring at the movement in action as admiring the finess and finish of a great looking watch that comes very close to a gen resemblance. and indeed if anything doesnt work out.. can always put the backcase original.. its not like im gonna drill holes! Cheers hope i can post pictures before 2020
billyfras
Ive always wondered why AP doesn't display the movement. I have a thing for admiring the movement as well. Plus the v5 movement is a beauty. If you do get this done or even try to, please share your experience.
