CJ74
Hello, I have joined this forum, because I love watches (obvious, no?). Maybe it comes from working in Geneva and seeing beautiful watches almost daily... Hopefully, one day I'll have the time to take some evening courses on watch maintenance/assembling (many opportunities around here, of course) So far, I have 2 gens, a swatch irony skeleton, and an invicta chronograph. I also have a panerai "homage". The nicest watch I have so far is one I've had made for my brother's 40th birthday: an Art Deco black 6497 with silver rehaut. As we live thousands of miles apart, haven't had the opportunity to give it to him yet Right now, i'm hesitating between getting a watch with an asian 7751, and change the movement with a genuine valjoux when/if the caliber breaks - the cases and dials available as spares are pretty disappointing (or I don't have the right references) ; or getting a Lange & Sohne rep. (perpetual saxonia). As you may have guessed, i'm looking for a moonphase vintage/dressy watch Hopefully, all find all the info I need here. Have a nice day/evening CJ
Soldie
CJ., welcome. Explore! You will discover that elegant dress watches, particularly with moon phases are rare. When they occur usually in chrono's. There is a JL Reverso in the works, it was a 30's design. Keep your eyes peeled! Soldie
