Panerai Composite

Hi there,

 

Anyone got any experience with rep panerai composite?  Any advice for best factory / TD for this? 

 

My understanding is that they recreate the composite by PVD coating a SS or Ti case.  I assume the Ti case would be closer in weight to the genuine than the SS.  Does anyone have any experience of how hard wearing the PVD coating may be?

 

While I am asking questions, same as above re RG.  Best rep, best TD, how hard wearing is the plating?

 

I might as well get one from each end of the bling scale!
