Grehale
Hello! My name is gre, I'm a tattooist from Manchester, UK. I've spent a few days just lurking about and reading forum rules and all the great bits of advice/forum induction and am finding the forum great and very addictive! I've been researching buying my first proper watch (I've had a rotary Windsor since I was 18, and thought it was time, ten years later, to get something a bit more substantial. Still not having come up with any decision and with the wish list growing longer and longer by the day, i noticed one of my customers was wearing an IWC portugese, and consequently got my first insight into the rep scene. Just thought I'd say hello because I've been really enjoying all the advice/banter and enthusiasm about something that i had no idea existed. roy8846
Hi from another UK user. I have only been around 2 months but have bought 6 reps!. My faves are my Hublot BB, AP RB2 and an Omega Ploprof! Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
Grehale
Hey! Wow! You've been busy. Which dealers did you opt for? I've ordered an iwc portifino chronograph from pure time, I got the qc images in my email today and it looks amazing! So excited.

Nightwatch
Hi and welcome to the forum. Lots of research and reading are awaiting You and it´s fun. The IWC Portuguese as beautiful as it is it´s expensive and will break down shortly because the seconds at six work unreliably in the replica and will freeze the movement after a short time (dead watch). Best option is to look into the IWC Ingenieur laureus sport from Noob factory that doesn´t have that problem. Other possibility is to look for seconds at nine. Wearing an IWC 2008 Cousteau Divers right now, so welcome to the club:)
Grehale
Ah I already read about this seconds at 6 issue that seems to plague all reps. Is that across the board? Does it affect chronos too? I was actually looking at the portifino chrono with the a7750 movement from puretime, the seconds are at 9... i may have already purchased it along with a pam127
